I wish my sonogram pics were of better quality to scan, but they aren't, so I am going without any pics on this post. Yes, you read the headline correctly, we are expecting baby #3 in late October. Most people know, but I still haven't announced it on facebook. I am sure I eventually will...
I went for my 12 week visit yesterday and everything looks great, which is why I felt good enough to post it on here today. After my miscarriage last fall, it's been a scary ride to say the least. I have gotten to see the baby at all 3 visits and hear the heartbeat. I think my doc knows what a nervous wreck I am when I go in there, so she soothes my fears by showing us that sweet miracle on the screen.
Ironic that I miscarried last October, and now am due with an October baby. I am not sure what to do with a fall baby...I have 2 spring babies, so this will definitely be a change. I am also 35 which scares me a little bit. My doctor is so great and eases my fears...after 35, a woman is considered to be of "Advanced Maternal Age." Whatever...
Zadie is super excited and of course wants a sister. Garrison took a little more convincing and thinks he wants a brother. Alex thinks it's a boy, and I am on the fence about it. I always wanted a sister and Alex always wanted a brother...if it is a boy, it would be closer in age to Garrison, and they would probably play and fight well with one another. If it's a girl, then Garrison will always be my sweet baby boy. Oh well, I will be fine with whatever....a healthy baby is all I am asking for.
Speaking of asking. How lucky are we to have Jesus as our Saviour? I am so thankful God made the ultimate sacrifice for us sinners to be washed clean of them with his only son. We are so blessed beyond words. Have a joyous Easter, and may you get to spend time with family.
Next post will be a catch up of pics of my kiddos!!! They are growing leaps and bounds...
